It's very odd that a list of IJN aircraft also includes a list of modern-day JMSDF aircraft, especially given that the title is "List of aircraft of the Imperial Japanese Navy". The JMSDF section of the list ought to be a separate page entirely, or simply moved to List of military aircraft of Japan or the JMSDF's main article under the Aircraft section with notes denoting their date of retirement. List of military aircraft of Japan already attempts to cover all aircraft ever fielded by Japan, which isn't daunting enough of a task to warrant its balkanization into other articles. If there's any information this article has that the other doesn't, it can be added. Kaotao (talk) 07:24, 8 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
