Hughes Township is a township in Nodaway County, Missouri, United States.[2] At the 2020 census, its population was 411.[3] It comprises about 62 sections of land.[4] Graham is its lone town which lies about two miles east of the Nodaway River.
Hughes Township was established in 1845, and named after General Andrew S. Hughes, a pioneer citizen.[5] The township's area was reduced in 1866 when Monroe Township was formed.[4]
