Hi Significa Liberdade, Thanks so much for your feedback on the drafted article. I updated it with additional citations showing credibility—media interviews, publications. I'd appreciate your feedback. Have a great new year!

Recent decline of Draft:Dragan Bošković

I recently submitted a wiki page for review, but it was rejected due to not being written in a formal tone. I would appreciate your guidance on how to improve it. Could you provide a specific example or section that needs revision so I can better understand the necessary changes? I would also like if it's enough to disclose the conflict of interest in every edit summary or should I do it elsewhere? Thanks in advance, Boskovicdd (talk) Boskovicdd (talk) 13:33, 17 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there, Boskovicdd! Please see WP:DISCLOSE for information about disclosing your COI. At present, the article looks more neutral in tone. If you would like further feedback from another editor, feel free to resubmit for review. Significa liberdade (she/her) (talk) 15:56, 17 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Sig! Hope you are doing well. I was wondering if you would be able to undelete Category:iPhones? I had meant to revert this edit which made it seem like a test page. Thanks, HouseBlaster (talk • he/they) 04:06, 18 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,

I rewrote all of the pages for the Ed Imperato page with references from news articles, websites and books. I did not re-submit. Is there a way to have it checked to make sure it clears now? Prvatedancer (talk) 23:34, 19 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, Prvatedancer! I'm not seeing an article at Draft:Ed Imperato or Ed Imperato. Can you tell me which article you're referring to? Significa liberdade (she/her) (talk) 02:21, 20 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
sorry about that. It's this one https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Edward_T._Imparato Prvatedancer (talk) 19:41, 20 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, Prvatedancer! Thanks for providing that link and for rewriting the article so it doesn't have so many copyright issues. Looking at the article at present, I recommend the following:
I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any further questions. Significa liberdade (she/her) (talk) 19:50, 20 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Prvatedancer (talk) 23:34, 19 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks so much. I added a few more references and links at the end of each book for either a review or a place on the website. They were not self published but they're all out of print now and can be bought used only. Draft:Edward T. Imparato Thanks again for your help, I just want to make sure everything is correct. He was a really important person in Ww2 and a noted author for military history afterwards, especially being an expert on McCarthur. Prvatedancer (talk) 22:25, 20 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Prvatedancer: Taking a quick look at your sources, I'm going to give you a word of warning. Goodreads is considered generally unreliable on Wikipedia because it is user-generated, and booksellers websites, such as Alibris, also won't count towards establishing notability because their goal is to sell the book. If you have access to any newspaper databases that may have book reviews for the books, those will be your best bet. Significa liberdade (she/her) (talk) 01:02, 21 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, thank you. It's hard as many of the books were reviewed decades ago and there isn't an online link for them. Just old physical ones. I'll link to whatever there is and if there's a problem, I guess I'll have to change it. It's odd though as they're real books and mentioned on many sites, I would think that would be enough to prove that they're real. Thanks again for your help. Prvatedancer (talk) 00:44, 23 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Prvatedancer: The question isn't whether the books exist but rather that they help establish notability, which is how we determine which topics should have articles on Wikipedia. Many things--including books--exist in the world that are not notable enough to have Wikipedia articles. Significa liberdade (she/her) (talk) 02:23, 23 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Rejection of draft:Marvin Weintraub

Draft:Marvin Weintraub

Hi there, my draft was rejected because it contains copyrighted content. It's not clear to me if this means the cited source isn't publicly available (as far as I can tell it is), or that the language in the draft mirrors that of the source too closely. In the latter case, will the article be accepted if it's suitably rewritten? Omniprong (talk) 03:54, 20 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, Omniprong! I declined the draft due to some close paraphrasing from the source, which is not under creative commons licensing from what I could tell--please let me know if I missed something! I have rephrased and removed some of the clearest commonalities, though I wasn't sure about some of the more technical phrasing, so I have requested someone else to take a look.
Once the phrasing issue has been handled, my guess is that the article is likely to be accepted as it seems that Weintraub meets Wikipedia's notability guidelines for academics. I suggest checking out that link for more information. Significa liberdade (she/her) (talk) 04:12, 20 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks a lot. I'm not an expert on the technical material either. I'm glad that he meets the notability guidelines; I'm collaborating on this article with someone else and mostly serving as an editor, and that was our chief concern. Is there anything I can do to help out, or should I just wait for an update? Omniprong (talk) 04:16, 20 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
For now, I think you can wait for an update, Omniprong. Who are you collaborating with? Significa liberdade (she/her) (talk) 04:19, 20 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
In the interest of full disclosure, I'm helping out one of Marvin's sons, who's older and not as technologically adept as I am. He collated most of the sources and provided an initial draft, which was quite long and contained a lot of material that wasn't strictly relevant to the aspects of his career which make him notable. I tried to pare things down to the bare facts and modified the tone of a few sentences to keep things objective. I never knew Marvin and only have a working relationship with son, so I don't think there's a problematic conflict of interest here. Omniprong (talk) 04:27, 20 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for the disclosure, Omniprong. Have you received any compensation for your services? Significa liberdade (she/her) (talk) 04:37, 20 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Not yet, but that was the plan. That said, it was never contingent on the article being accepted. My understanding is that he just wanted to give it a try to see if we could put some mention of him on public record in an accessible format. Omniprong (talk) 04:39, 20 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Omniprong: Thanks for letting me know! Please see Wikipedia's payment disclosure policy. Significa liberdade (she/her) (talk) Significa liberdade (she/her) (talk) 04:51, 20 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Understood. Will do. Omniprong (talk) 04:52, 20 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Reverting cross-wiki socks

Hello, Significa liberdade. Please see c:Category:Sockpuppets of Anonymous Hong Kong Photographer 1 and c:Commons:Village Pump#Respect and non-disturbance for long-term prolific contributor. This user previously created two user pages here in enwiki, and you clearly ignored all discussions there. I previously tagged their user page on commons with a sockingtag when the accounts are active, and then the user created the page here. You are clearly doing this without community consensus by deleting and reverting all the edits related to this user. Please go and make comments there regarding your rationale, and not here. 街〉📅 06:25, 21 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your message, HingWahStreet! Given that this appears to be a cross-wiki issue, I'm going to reach out to a more experienced administrator who may be able to provide some guidance. Significa liberdade (she/her) (talk) 06:30, 21 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Hello again, HingWahStreet! Because Anonymous Hong Kong Photographer 1 is not active on the English Wikipedia (and certainly not blocked), related sockpuppetry tags are invalid here. If Anonymous Hong Kong Photographer 1 were globally locked, the socking tags may be appropriate, but that is not the case. If you have specific concerns about sockpuppetry occurring on this Wikipedia, you should file a sockpuppet investigation. Significa liberdade (she/her) (talk) 06:54, 21 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Please see c:Commons:Requests for checkuser/Case/Anonymous Hong Kong Photographer 1. 街〉📅 07:15, 21 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
HingWahStreet: I see that. However, blocks do not apply cross-wiki unless they are globally blocked. An editor blocked on Commons is not necessarily blocked on the English Wikipedia. If you have concerns about editing behaviours on the English Wikipedia, you will need to follow the appropriate venues on the English Wikipedia. Hi! A bit ago you CSDed Draft:Sapphire Retail Limited as a G11. A new version of this article seems to have been created by another paid user. Hi, Rusalkii, and thanks for reaching out! I deleted Draft:Sapphire Retail Limited as an unsourced, rejected draft that was blatant advertising. Clarification

I'm reaching out regarding the recent deletion of the page on Whang's Personal Identity. When you referred to "copyright infringement," I wanted to confirm whether this was related to how I formatted or cited the sources in the article — or was there another issue involved? Emmarrrrr (talk) 00:27, 24 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, @Emmarrrrr, and thank you for reaching out! The article was deleted because it was a direct copy from another website that is protected by copyright. If you want to recreate the article, you may do so. However, you would have to rewrite it entirely in your own words. Significa liberdade (she/her) (talk) 00:29, 24 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Hi @Significa liberdade, when you say "another website," are you referring to wpipainfree.com? Emmarrrrr (talk) 03:29, 24 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
The content at Whang's Personal Identity was identical to information at namu.wiki. That site has a CC by NC SA license, which cannot be shared on Wikipedia. Significa liberdade (she/her) (talk) 03:37, 24 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
But the [https://namu.wiki/w/Whang's%20Personal%20Identity%20Theory%20and%20Psychological%20Testing%20(WPI)?uuid=f65bb2b8-2dd1-4c38-a881-ea2a343a283d namu.wiki page] is now deleted in the latest version — it's just a trace now, and I was the one who wrote it. Would it help if I deleted that trace? Emmarrrrr (talk) 04:22, 24 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Denver Outlaws

Hello @Significa liberdade

@AFC Vixen I’m reaching out to raise a concern about a user who appears to be dominating the editing process and talk page discussions related to the Denver Outlaws and the Denver Outlaws (2006–2020) pages. This user has consistently rejected the merger proposal without engaging in constructive dialogue or attempting to reach consensus, despite multiple editors supporting the merger—around six users across both pages.

There are examples of this behavior on both talk pages, where the user has been dismissive and, at times, has used language that feels like bullying toward those in favor of the merger. It’s creating a hostile environment and undermining collaborative editing.

I respectfully request that action be taken to either protect the page or have an administrator intervene to facilitate a proper consensus discussion. This behavior is counterproductive to Wikipedia’s collaborative spirit and needs to be addressed so the community can move forward respectfully.@emoore2914

Hi there! It looks like there has been quite a bit of conversation regarding this issue. Unfortunately, it's late at night for me, so I don't have the energy to read into this issue deeply right now. This is regarding my article on WisprFlow. I wanted your advice on how to make another Reddit post, which is approved by the team.

I wrote an article about this company I follow closely called Wispr Flow when I realised that I don't have one. Draft:Wispr Flow (Voice Dictation Tool) Could you help me figure out exactly how I could do that? The article I wrote was written on my own based on resources I found online- all of which are notable and credible sources. In my view, it was written from a neutral point of view as well. But I'm confused as to why it was rejected anyway. Noor Badal Sharma (talk) 11:14, 24 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

(talk page watcher) @Noor Badal Sharma I can determine the rationale for speedy deletion from your user talk page. I can also determine that it was AI generated. WP:BURDEN says, broadly "you want it, you do it" but it doesn;t say use AI to generate it. 🇺🇦 FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 🇺🇦 11:22, 24 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Hi there, Noor Badal Sharma! Your draft article was deleted because it was overly promotional in tone to the point of reading like an advertisement. One of Wikipedia's foundational pillars is that it is written from a neutral point of view. Additionally, as Timtrent mentioned, it appeared to be AI-generated, which we highly discourage (see WP:LLM). I hope this makes sense! Let me know if you have any follow-up questions, comments, and/or concerns. Take care, Significa liberdade (she/her) (talk) 15:57, 24 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy Deletion of East Mojo

Hey just wanted to bring it out, since the article was created as part of Wikiproject Newspapers. The Topic is definitely notable, and in no way was it a copyright infringement of EastMjojo.com. Of course, it might have sounded similar because the article was about "East Mojo" the Newspaper. Why was the article deleted so quickly without an Articles for Deletion (AfD) discussion, especially since none of its content infringed copyright and I had written everything in my own words? Flyingphoenixchips (talk) 03:21, 1 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Flyingphoenixchips: Most of the article was copy-pasted from another source. Because Wikipedia must uphold copyright, articles that are copyright violations are not subject to AFD. If you intend on recreating an article for East Mojo, I recommend practicing your paraphrasing. Significa liberdade (she/her) (talk) 03:26, 1 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
What source was it taken from? All of it were written by me, and it was definitely not a copy-paste. Flyingphoenixchips (talk) 03:28, 1 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Content was copied from East Mojo's webiste. Although you may have added an infobox and citations, the text was identical to sections of the website. Significa liberdade (she/her) (talk) 03:30, 1 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Full court press

I don't think the capitalization matters here. If I, or another user, typed in full court press, Full Court Press, or Full court press, it is obviously ambiguous in any case. The F C and P being capital can refer to one of two things currently with an article, but that dab page should still list the basketball tactic. The full court press or Full court press can still refer to the album or TV series, just typed out by a user in a different way. Why shouldn't the (disambiguation) be dropped, in this case? Soulbust (talk) 03:36, 1 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, CF-501 Falcon! Draft:NextCom Group would not be eligible for deletion based on the fact that it was created by a user who is currently blocked. The relevant speedy deletion criterion in this case would be G5, which only applies to articles created in violation of a block, i.e., created through block evasion. In this case, the draft will stand on its own merit. Significa liberdade (she/her) (talk) 16:44, 2 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Friends lesbian kiss episode deletion

Hello Significa, I did not understand why you deleted this at WP:Redirects for discussion/Log/2025 March 24#Friends lesbian kiss episode? Was it a mistake? Jay 💬 07:16, 8 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, Jay! Thanks for bringing this up. After reviewing the discussion again, I've decided to reopen for another administrator to review. Personally, the next best option feels like closing as no consensus, but the arguments in favour of keeping the redirect as is are weak, making a no consensus close feel like the wrong call.
