Francesca Romana Orlando is an Italian journalist, writer, and essayist. She is active in the fields of science communication, fiction, poetry, and education. Her publications include essays, novels, and poetry collections that have received national and international literary awards.
Biography
Francesca Romana Orlando studied at the University of Exeter (UK) and earned a degree in Literature from the University of Rome "La Sapienza", where she later specialized in Communication Sciences. She continued her postgraduate studies at the University of Rome Tor Vergata in Communication Analysis and Management, completing internships at the newsrooms of Rai News 24 and TG3.
Journalism

In 2015, her short story Survivor, a critique of globalization's impact on health and the environment, was awarded at the AMBIART literary competition.
