The Pasir Ris–Changi Group Representation Constituency is a four-member Group Representation Constituency (GRC) in the eastern region of Singapore. It consists of part of the former Siglap ward of East Coast GRC and the three Pasir Ris divisions of the defunct Pasir Ris–Punggol GRC. It was claimed that the creation of this GRC was due to the formation of Punggol GRC to reflect the identity of Punggol. As a result, the Pasir Ris divisions merged with the private estates of Loyang and Flora, as well as Changi Airport, Changi Village, Pulau Tekong and Pulau Ubin, all of which had belonged to East Coast GRC. The current Members of Parliament are Indranee Rajah, Valerie Lee, Sharael Taha and Desmond Tan from the People's Action Party (PAP).
History
Before the 2025 general election, Pasir Ris–Changi GRC was formed by merging the wards of Pasir Ris East, Pasir Ris Central and Pasir Ris West, along with the Changi part of the East Coast GRC. As a result, Changi Village, Loyang and Flora estates were transferred to this GRC from East Coast GRC.[1]
The GRC also covers the North-Eastern Islands of Singapore, including Pulau Tekong and Pedra Branca.
On 21 April, PAP announced that Indranee Rajah would leave Tanjong Pagar GRC to lead Sharael Taha, Desmond Tan and Valerie Lee in Pasir Ris–Changi GRC.[2] On 23 April, Singapore Democratic Alliance (SDA) chairman Desmond Lim formed an opposing team, leading Abu Mohamed, Harminder Pal Singh and Chia Yun Kai.[3] The PAP proceeded to win with 67.66% of the vote.[4]
