William Charles Cole Claiborne II (1808–1878) was the 13th Speaker of the Louisiana House of Representatives, a position he held from 1841 to 1843. He represented Orleans Parish in the Louisiana House of Representatives.[1][2] He was the son of William C. C. Claiborne, the first American governor of Louisiana, and Clarissa Duralde, daughter of Martin Duralde of the Attakapas district.[3]
