A barnstar for you!

The Writer's Barnstar
Well done for your amazing work on Reservation Dogs episodes and getting them to GA - I enjoyed reviewing them and was very happy I was able to pass them. I have really enjoyed learning about the episodes and their context and it is so important that more stories about indigenous people are told, so please do carry on with your amazing work! DaniloDaysOfOurLives (talk) 03:42, 7 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@DaniloDaysOfOurLives: Thank you for the barnstar, it truly means so much! I'm not indigenous myself, but as an Oklahoman (where the series is filmed), I've found the series to be crucial for the stories it's told. I hope to make more episode articles for the program soon. TheDoctorWho (talk) 04:18, 7 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

User script

Hey, @TheDoctorWho! I saw that you recently started a source review but didn't mention the duplicate references in the list. Do you have User:Polygnotus/DuplicateReferences? If not, you should get it as it spots duplicates very easily. Thanks, Cowboygilbert - (talk) ♥ 04:34, 11 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I have not used it, but I will definitely take a look at it. Thank you! TheDoctorWho (talk) 18:34, 12 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

A Myers-Briggs fan?

Hi, TheDoctorWho ... I noticed you identified yourself as an INFJ on your User page, though you had a T out to the right of the J. As someone very much into the MBTI and other similar assessments, as well as a sharer of three of your four letters, I'd be interested to take this forward in conversation, if you're up for it. I identify as INTJ, but my J is just over the middle line and so I often say I'm INTX. I think I understand now why I felt so in tune with your writing as I copy edited it. :) Augnablik (talk) 10:05, 15 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

@Augnablik: Apologies for the delayed response, I have been sidetracked with some on- and off-wiki projects. We took Myers-Briggs tests and discussed the results in-detail in a college psychology course of mine. The T at the end stands for "turbulent" and is a further subtype of INFJ that you can read more about here if you're interested! It's interesting how close our personality types are. TheDoctorWho (talk) 18:38, 19 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
This Turbulent and Assertive breakdown is fascinating, and I'm surprised I hadn't heard of it before because the MBTI was one of the assessment tools I studied extensively when I was doing my doctoral work on cognitive and learning styles, and related tools — then continued with that area of interest in the world of education and training for quite a while.
This breakdown must have come later, when I more or less stopped keeping up with the area. All because of running into you, and through you, this, I'll look into it.
Is there a T and A for each letter? Augnablik (talk) 03:18, 20 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@Augnablik: I honestly wasn't sure at first, but a quick search of the website does make it appear so. Here's the further T/A breakdown for INTJ. TheDoctorWho (talk) 04:58, 21 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I followed the link you gave me two days ago somewhat further, and even took this company's version of the assessment tool. This time I ended up over on the P side of the dividing line, though only by one point ... so again I think it's fair to claim an X as my fourth letter, all the more because in my earlier assessment, I was a J by only three points.
And like you, I found that I also ended up as a T!
Incidentally, although this new assessment places me in the Logician category, I feel much at home as an Explorer. I don't feel comfortable with the cold feel of being labeled a Logician! And I'm definitely no mathematician or physicist, just someone who seeks truth, accuracy, and clarity above most everything else. Augnablik (talk) 06:33, 21 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
A perfect example of my T, if it hasn't already occurred to you: this quest for clarity about what happened to my edits of your article that Mox Eden picked up on in the Guild of Copy Editors! 😂 Augnablik (talk) 07:18, 21 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

DYK for Elora's Dad

On 18 March 2025, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Elora's Dad, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. I was going to leave a smart comment about Oklahoma being just one giant ghost town, and then I saw you were from Oklahoma...

All kidding aside, that's a neat article and I will take a closer look when I get home this afternoon! Bgsu98 (Talk) 15:48, 20 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

@Bgsu98: The state practically is a ghost town if you don't live in OKC or Tulsa. That's the reason why the tornadoes only ever make cows fly and why Missouri has a warning sign up about us. /j 😂 TheDoctorWho (talk) 04:58, 21 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
The article looks good! Since you're practically a figure skating expert at this point, I currently have World Figure Skating Championships up for FL review. Fun fact: the World Championships are next week in Boston and I'll be there! Bgsu98 (Talk) 12:50, 21 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@Bgsu98: I'll absolutely give it a review, I'll try to get to it sooner rather than later and put myself a placeholder down there. TheDoctorWho (talk) 03:23, 23 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I appreciate that, especially your rebuttal of that ridiculous Oppose. Bgsu98 (Talk) 19:20, 23 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@Bgsu98: Yeah, I'm not really sure why that oppose was necessary. The list is likely 75%+ of the article size, and it's understood that background context is necessary. TheDoctorWho (talk) 05:10, 24 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Congratulations, TheDoctorWho! The list you nominated, List of Stranger Things episodes, has been promoted to featured status, recognizing it as one of the best lists on Wikipedia. The nomination discussion has been archived.
This is a rare accomplishment and you should be proud. If you would like, you may nominate it to appear on the Main page as Today's featured list. Keep up the great work! Cheers, Hey man im josh (talk) via FACBot (talk) 00:25, 22 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Undefined sfn references in List of ghost towns in Oklahoma

Hi, in this edit to List of ghost towns in Oklahoma you use {{sfn|Schmidt|1978|pp=104–106}} and {{sfn|Schmidt|1978|pp=51–54}}. Unfortunately there is no work "Schmidt 1978" listed, so nobody can look the references up, and the article is added to Category:Harv and Sfn no-target errors. If you could supply the missing source it would be appreciated. DuncanHill (talk) 00:57, 23 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

DYK for Deer Lady

On 24 March 2025, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Deer Lady, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. DoctorWhoFan91

I see from the posts at the head of User talk:DoctorWhoFan91 that you have agreed to take on editing certain pages on their behalf. I feel I should point out to you that the next day DoctorWhoFan91 was blocked for 6 months. Please be most careful that you only make edits which you stand behind yourself and do not unintentionally end up PROXYING. I'm not sure I need to tell you this but between me and another Admin the others mentioned have been notified. Thanks. Doug Weller talk 11:28, 24 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

For complete transparency (for you or anyone else), I have actually declined to make edits on behalf of DWF91 that they've requested off-wiki. The only thing I've taken on is their Good Topic nom, which I was already contributing to prior to the initial AN thread that kicked off all this drama, and that was of my own interest in seeing this promoted. Time stamps of my involvement in that topic area prior to the ban can be seen in the editing history at WP:WHO/G. Thanks, TheDoctorWho (talk) 17:02, 24 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Much appreciated, thanks. Doug Weller talk 17:06, 24 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not restore the celebrity runners-up to {{Big Brother in the United States}}. Per Wikipedia:Templates for discussion/Log/2016 August 11#Template:Celebrity Big Brother and Template talk:Big Brother in the United States#Celebrity HouseGuests (which you were a part of the discussion), it was agreed that only winners could be included. --woodensuperman 07:44, 4 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

It's been a while, I can't remember every discussion that I was a part of 7 years ago. I probably wouldn't have reverted had you pointed to that discussion rather than a vague guideline that doesn't directly address the situation. Thanks for bringing it back to my attention though, I'll try and keep my on it from here on out to make sure no one beyond winners are included for CBB TheDoctorWho (talk) 07:53, 4 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks! :) --woodensuperman 07:54, 4 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Maybe I'm just impatient, but it seems like there's a backlog at the Featured List project? Bgsu98 (Talk) 00:32, 6 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

@Bgsu98: The "Older nominations" section does seem a tad long right to me right now, but I'm not a coord there so I'm not really sure what could be done. The instructions do say "Each nomination will typically last at least twenty days, but may last longer if changes are ongoing or insufficient discussion or analysis has occurred", but there's no maximum length, so it would appear that everything is on the up and up. The most recent archiving was done less than a week ago. TheDoctorWho (talk) 02:16, 6 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

WIkiProject Doctor Who: March 2025 Newsletter

The Space-Time Telegraph
Volume III, Issue I — March 2025
Brought to you by the editors of WikiProject Doctor Who

One hell of a newsletter.
Geronimoooo!
Apparently this newsletter the queen of outer space... wait... no, sorry; that's Belinda! Swashbuckle your seatbelts because this newsletter is full of information regarding recent happenings in the Doctor Who WikiProject. You'll also find updates on the upcoming series and elsewhere the expanded Whoniverse.

Series 15

The fifteenth series of Doctor Who is set to begin this Saturday with "The Robot Revolution" on 12 April and will conclude eight weeks later after "The Reality War" airs on 31 May. It will once again be accompanied by a new series of Doctor Who: Unleashed. Draft articles for all eight episodes have already been created, the links to which can be found here. New novelisations adapting the first three episodes of the series are set to be released on 10 July.

Recent Article Regenerations

Since the last Newsletter, we've had a whole heap of quality content added to the Project. The articles Thasmin, "Joy to the World", Vislor Turlough, "Space Babies", "Legend of the Sea Devils", Weeping Angel, Doctor Who series 13, Pyramids of Mars, "The Legend of Ruby Sunday", "The Power of the Doctor", The Twin Dilemma, "The Husbands of River Song", "Demons of the Punjab", Doctor Who Live, "The Return of Doctor Mysterio", and Attack of the Cybermen have all been improved to GA-level quality. List of Torchwood episodes and List of Doctor Who episodes (2005-present) have been improved to FL-level quality, while the Doctor Who specials (2022) and Doctor Who series 14 Good Topics have been successfully promoted.
An additional good topic covering the series articles from 2005–present has been nominated and is currently receiving feedback. Though content creation has slowed in recent months, content improvement should hopefully see an increase as series 15 ticks ever closer.

Future Project Goals

The WikiProject will once again be working in collaboration to complete a Good Topic encompassing the series and its related articles. Any contributions will be greatly appreciated. Several editors have planned upcoming work for Doctor Who-related character, episode, and performer articles. More information, as well as where you can find out how to help, can be found it at Wikipedia:WikiProject Doctor Who/Goals.

We Want You... To Help With The Newsletter

Due to the departure of previous newsletter contributors, the Newsletter is beaming out a message from Stonehenge requesting your help. If anyone would like to help actively contribute to the Newsletter's content updates, please let us know, as we are willing to accept anyone who is interested in helping with writing the Newsletter. Doctor Who newsletter

Hello. I'm interested in contributing to the newsletter. Spectritus (talk) 20:57, 11 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

@Spectritus: Perfect, we'll be glad to have you. Pokelego999 and I have been writing it lately, so we'll definitely be glad to have the help! We typically publish once every three months, although this issue was a little delayed because our other previous contributors backed out. That said, we're looking to get our next issue out sometime in June and planning will likely start in mid-May. I'll make sure to drop you a nonfiction via ping or on your talk page when that time comes around. TheDoctorWho (talk) 02:06, 12 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Okay. Thanks. Spectritus (talk) 09:09, 12 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hello... I am also working on Canadian National Skating Championships. If you have a chance, can you take a look at the History section? I'm not asking for a full analysis or anything like that, but I have been struggling with writing this section, especially regarding the chronology of events. If you can let me know how it reads or if there might be a better way to organize it, that would be super awesome! Bgsu98 (Talk) 15:31, 23 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Dan Abrams

Hi TheDoctorWho, I work for Dan Abrams, and I am trying to add information to his article. I see that you have an interest in television and that you've edited the Live PD article in the past. Since Abrams was the host of Live PD and several other television shows, I hope you'll be willing to take a look at the edit request I posted here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Dan_Abrams#Add_info_to_article.
