From AUTHORPÆDIA® Founder Chris Douglas

It is said that “every writer, until achieving recognition, lives in permanent fear of death, and hopes of immortality.”

It is because of this injustice that I’ve come up with the Latin phrase— LITTERARUM TALITATE — IMMORTALIZED IN LITERATURE, a banner placed atop our logo representing A SHIELD OF HONOR, alongside Knowledge, Immortality, and Merit—an homage paid to every writer who has created a work of art in print.

AUTHORPÆDIA® is the world’s ONLY Encyclopædia dedicated to all published writers, where every author deserves a life full of recognition and achievement, knowing full well that his or her name will last beyond the veil of time alongside his or her fellow writers—those who fill the lamina of history—from Akkadian first recorded Enheduanna (2285-2250 BCE) to today’s most kindled.

Because we are a non-profit organization, we are raising funds through donations. We could place advertising banners in authors pages, but we do not, for we regard each page as an exclusive personal property of the author who has created it.

Therefore, please consider donating whatever you can, to protect and endorse the preserving, and raising, the free AUTHORPÆDIA® to its highest recognition.

THANK YOU,

Chris Douglas
