This graph image could be re-created using vector graphics as an SVG file. This has several advantages; see Commons:Media for cleanup for more information. If an SVG form of this image is available, please upload it and afterwards replace this template with {{vector version available|new image name}}. It is recommended to name the SVG file “Atmospheric CO2 with glaciers cycles.svg”—then the template Vector version available (or Vva) does not need the new image name parameter.
Summary
DescriptionAtmospheric CO2 with glaciers cycles.png
Ice Core data for Atmospheric CO2 related to the glacial cycles This graph shows the newest Ice Core data for Atmospheric CO2 from air bubbles in the ice. I tried to connect it to the glacial cycles by marking 230 ppm as a transition level and colored "glacial periods" blue and interglacial periods yellow. There's a clear 80,000-110,000 period of repeating glacier even if they vary in quality.
Human deforestation and burning of fossil fuel has raised atmospheric CO2 to over 380 ppm in the last century, well above pre-industrialized levels, and "off the scale" of this graph top.
